Industry Work Study Program (IWSP)
(To be defined in collaboration with Pilot IWSP partner(s))
YKF high school students participate in the Industry Work Study Program (IWSP)as preparation for participation in the workforce and skill building
The IWSP job partner is not the student workers’ official employer and YKF handles student worker documentation, compliance and insurance as required by the Department of Labor (DOL).
Participation in IWSP is a requirement of participating in YKF.
- Student workers do not miss class while at work.
- Student workers do not receive a paycheck or W-2 for their participation in IWSP.
- Donations provided by job partners to YKF are non-taxable donations totally unrelated to participation in IWSP.
